GLSDERS is governed by a five-member Board and is the pension system serving the Greater Lawrence Sanitary District, which provides wastewater treatment for five communities: Lawrence, Andover, North Andover, Methuen, Dracut, and Salem, New Hampshire. The district’s purpose is to preserve and protect the Merrimack for enjoyment and use for both today and in the future. The Greater Lawrence Sanitary District Employees Retirement System has been organized for the employees of the Sanitary District to provide public pension benefits to all eligible employees.
